Ten hours live on one LED wall, no retakes.
An election-night studio has one job: stay up until the last result. With ATM Virtual, we built TVP's set in Unreal Engine. We ran live results and AR graphics through Vizrt, and kept our LED volume on air all night.
The challenge
Election graphics had to follow live results for ten hours.
Election night doesn't move. Results arrive live, the graphics have to follow them on air, and the studio has to hold until the last result is in, with no second take. For TVP in 2023 that meant ten hours live.
Who owned what
The crew that built the set with ATM Virtual also ran it on air.
The same crew that built the set operated it live, so nobody on the night was reading someone else's documentation.

The programme ran on our LED volume, using ROE screen panels and Ghost Frame. The virtual set was built in Unreal Engine with ATM Virtual. Results, CGI and AR graphics went to air through Vizrt VizArc.
