Julinek Park · VR ride

A family coaster, turned into a VR dragon ride.

Julinek Park already had a family coaster. We scanned the track and built a flight in Unreal Engine that matches every turn and drop. Then we synced it to the moving train. Guests ride it in VR.

The challenge

A coaster the park already owned, and a closed season to work in.

Julinek Park already had a family coaster. The VR had to match that ride, every turn and every drop. All site work had to fit into the closed season.

Who owned what

We built and synced the ride. The park runs it.

Client
Julinek Park: owns the coaster. Park staff fit, clean and dock the headsets on operating days.
Veles (Infinity Rides)
The track scan, the ride world in Unreal Engine, the sync to the moving coaster, and training the park's staff

What we delivered

Julinek Park: the coaster. Park staff fit, clean and dock the headsets on operating days.

  • Scanned the track on site, in the closed season.
  • Built the ride world in Unreal Engine so every turn in the headset matches a real turn.
  • Synced the world to the moving train, so it stays in time on every lap.
  • Trained park staff to fit, clean and dock the headsets on an operating day.

The rides' own sites

A website for each ride

We built each ride at Julinek its own website for guests, in Polish and English. One is for Dragon Coaster VR. One is for Circus Odyssey, a motion-simulator ride.

Verified result

The ride is live. Figures need the park's approval.

The ride is live with paying guests. First-season survey figures and rider numbers belong to the park. They appear here once Julinek Park approves them in writing.

We've done this once, at Julinek, so we're early. Send us your ride details. Sam Shennan runs Infinity Rides.
