Seven hours live, in front of 3D-scanned cities.
For the first anniversary of the full-scale invasion, Super Express ran a seven-hour live programme on se.pl and YouTube. We built the set from 3D scans of shelled Ukrainian cities, made from photos. What viewers saw behind the presenters was real, not drawn.
The challenge
A set that isn't a template, for a date that couldn't move.
The programme marked the first anniversary of the full-scale invasion, so the date was fixed: 24 February 2023. It ran seven hours live on se.pl and YouTube. What viewers saw behind the presenters had to be the real places, not an illustration of them.
Who owned what
Super Express ran the programme. We built and ran the set.
XR engineering was led by Martynian Rozwadowski, who now leads Pellar.
